Flex Legal offers a fixed-term Trainee Programme creating opportunities for aspiring solicitors or company secretaries from under-represented backgrounds. Trainees are seconded to in-house teams, with first-year salaries of £32,000 in London or £28,000 elsewhere, rising in the second year.

Eligibility includes completing a UK Qualifying Law Degree (or GDL/conversion) and meeting SQE requirements; right to work in the UK is required, visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• UK Qualifying Law Degree (SRA-listed) with 2.1+ grade.
• GDL or equivalent conversion course accepted.

Responsibilities

• Secondments to in-house client teams across industries.
• Develop practical legal experience and client–facing skills during each host assignment.
• Support SQE/QWE preparation and progression via company programmes.
