Une entreprise internationale en pleine croissance, spécialisée dans l'énergie éolienne offshore, recherche un avocat en interne à Édimbourg. Le candidat retenu sera responsable de la rédaction de contrats, de la gestion des réclamations et de la fourniture de conseils juridiques, offrant ainsi une exposition à des projets d'une grande valeur.

Qualifications

  • Jusqu'à 4 ans d'expérience PQE en droit commercial.
  • Expérience en litige commercial et/ou rédaction de contrats commerciaux, de préférence dans le secteur de l'énergie.
  • Capacité à travailler de manière indépendante et dans un environnement collaboratif.

Responsibilities

  • Rédiger et négocier divers contrats commerciaux.
  • Gérer les réclamations des entrepreneurs et conseiller sur les questions réglementaires.
  • Assister avec des demandes juridiques de toute l'entreprise.

We are delighted to have been exclusively instructed on this in-house legal role with a renewable energy organisation based in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing international company dedicated to offshore wind energy, supporting its mission to develop, finance, build, and operate wind farm projects around the world.

The position involves drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including FIDIC, LOGIC, and BIMCO agreements, as well as supply and confidentiality agreements. The successful candidate will manage contractor claims, instruct and liaise with external counsel, advise on regulatory matters, and assist with legal queries from across the business. The role offers exposure to high-value projects and a broad variety of legal and commercial work within the energy sector.

Applicants must be Scots or English qualified with up to 4 years’ PQE, and should have experience in commercial litigation and/or commercial contracts, ideally within the energy or infrastructure sectors. Strong drafting and negotiation skills, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative mindset are essential.
