Our client is seeking a lawyer or contracts specialist responsible for managing customer, vendor, and business partner contracts. The role reports to a Senior stakeholder and General Counsel.

This organization is driven by acquisition and growth worldwide.

You must be able to collaborate effectively across multiple countries and levels within various organizations.

This position offers the chance to work with colleagues and clients globally in a borderless environment.

It's an excellent opportunity for a lawyer or experienced commercial contract specialist aiming to advance in the software, Telco, Media, or IT sectors.

The role is primarily remote, with occasional meetings in local or international locations.

What we are looking for
  • Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and executing commercial contracts.
  • UK Qualified Lawyer with 6+ years of PQE or experience.
Required skills and experience
  • Extensive experience advising and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts.
  • Experience with international contracts and laws.
  • Strong negotiation skills, especially for high-value contracts.
  • Experience working with or within a software or IT company (Essential).
  • Experience with software licensing, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, etc. (Essential).
  • Ability to produce and present reports to diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of global data protection laws (EU GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA).
  • Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail, sound judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Confident communicator, capable of engaging with senior decision-makers.
  • Team player with collaborative skills.
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
