Our client is looking for a Commercial Counsel to join their growing Legal & Compliance Team! This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer with expertise in commercial technology transactions to make a real impact in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.

As a key partner to the Sales, Marketing, Security, Product, and Engineering teams, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping contracting processes, supporting revenue growth, and advising on privacy matters. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy, business-oriented lawyer who enjoys working cross-functionally and helping a company scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including enterprise SaaS, software licensing, data processing, partnerships, and more.
  • Provide privacy guidance on data processing agreements, data transfers, and compliance matters.
  • Work cross-functionally to support product development, documentation, and vendor procurement agreements.
  • Develop contracting processes and policies while training internal teams.
  • Collaborate with sales operations and security teams to improve contract management.
  • Manage outside counsel to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Qualified lawyer with at least 3 PQE.
  • Strong SaaS and commercial contracts experience.
  • Expertise in privacy compliance and data protection regulations.
  • Excellent legal and business judgment with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Passion for partnering with Sales and driving deals forward.
