Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is seeking an experienced In-house Counsel to support its Investor Services business in Europe from London. You will advise on fund administration, transfer agency and custodian/depositary matters within UCITS and AIFMD frameworks.

The role requires admission as a barrister or solicitor in England and Wales and strong knowledge of capital markets. You will negotiate complex agreements and monitor regulatory developments affecting our clients and operations.

Qualifications

• Admitted as barrister or solicitor in England and Wales.
• Knowledge of capital markets activities of banks and brokers.
• Familiarity with UCITS, AIFMD and CFTC regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support for fund administration, transfer agency, and custodian/depositary services for UCITS and AIFMD clients across Europe.
• Assist the Treasury Department with cash management and liquidity activities.
• Support the FinTech business line with product launches and monitor banking regulatory developments.
