Job description

This corporate role involves providing a variety of legal services and advice to the Group's businesses. The aim is to ensure the organization fulfills its statutory obligations and safeguards its interests.

International business that provides technology products and services to the aerospace and security markets

Description

  • Drafting and Reviewing: Prepare, review, and amend a variety of contracts including and not limited to: commercial, customer, supplier, NDA's and supply chain agreements.
  • Compliance Management: Oversee the Bribery Act compliance processes.
  • Training Development: Providing ongoing legal training both online and in person to stakeholders within the group..
  • Operational Framework: Support the legal team in managing and evolving the Operational Framework across the Group.
  • Data Protection: Ensure ongoing compliance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and maintain data protection registrations for the businesses.
  • M&A Activity: Aid in M&A activities, ensuring newly-acquired businesses comply with the Group's legal policies and procedures.
  • Litigation Support: Coordinate and provide legal advice for any litigation involving the businesses outside of the US.
  • Export Control Compliance: Assist with export control compliance and stay updated on relevant developments.

Profile

  • A qualified lawyer with at least two years post-qualification experience;
  • Experience of drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and advising on such;
  • In-house experience desired, though not a must;
  • Willingness to work flexibly within a small team;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
