Job summary

G2 Legal is seeking an in-house Corporate Lawyer (2-6 PQE) for a dynamic private equity firm in Brighton. You will advise on buy-side and sell-side M&A and handle SPAs, NDAs, and due diligence, working closely with senior stakeholders.

This role offers exposure to the full private equity lifecycle, with potential ownership of transactions and influence on strategy in a collaborative, commercially driven culture with a competitive salary and bonus.

Qualifications

• UK-qualified solicitor with strong corporate experience (private practice or in-house).
• Background in M&A, with exposure to private equity or complex transactions highly advantageous.
• Commercially minded, pragmatic, and confident working with non-legal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Advise on buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.
• Support private equity investments and exits.
• Draft and negotiate key documentation (SPAs, investment agreements, NDAs).
• Manage and coordinate due diligence processes.
• Provide ongoing corporate and strategic advice to portfolio companies.
