About Our Client
Established in 1998, the organization supports individuals with learning disabilities and autism with housing throughout the North West. Each year, they house over 250 people and continually find innovative ways to provide suitable and much-needed housing solutions. They are a fast-growing organization and are looking to take on more long-term, commercial leases. Therefore, they are seeking a legal expert to join as an in-house conveyancer to shape the team and support all legal property matters.
Job Description
The primary objectives are to develop and implement a proactive lease strategy for the organization, including renewals, asset disposals, and third-party leasing arrangements. As an in-house conveyancer, your responsibilities will include:
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of leases: occupancy, alterations, assignments, deeds of variation, rent reviews, and related documentation. We are seeking qualified solicitors or legal executives with management experience. A background in Property and Housing law or Local Authority work would be advantageous.
What's on Offer
Successful in-house conveyancer package includes: salary DOE circa £48k, car allowance, 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with service and options to buy more), 5% pension, paid voluntary days, and enhanced maternity and parental pay. Agile working arrangements are also available.
