Senior Commercial Counsel - Multinational UK Business - Oxford (Hybrid)
Our client is a multinational private company with a turnover exceeding £400m.
They are growing rapidly both organically and through acquisition. To support this growth, they are seeking a dynamic senior commercial lawyer with 8-10 years’ experience in-house and/or with prestigious private practice firms, preferably within the real estate sector, to join their dedicated team in Oxford, UK.
The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of legal matters including commercial and real estate property law, treasury, transfer pricing, and electricity distribution. Relevant experience in M&A, corporate law, property, construction, sales and purchasing of commercial contracts, IP, IT, data security, and litigation is essential.
As Senior Commercial Counsel, you will report to the Head of Legal and act as an active business partner and trusted adviser to various business units and Group functions. Confidence in working with colleagues at different levels within the organization is crucial.
You will be a problem solver with a solutions-oriented approach. As a senior member of the in-house team, you should be capable of managing multiple legal matters simultaneously, providing timely and cost-effective advice, and overseeing external counsel when necessary.
