Description

The In-House Banking Lawyer will:

  1. Provide legal advice on securitisation transactions across various asset classes, including mortgage loans, credit cards, auto loans, and trade receivables.
  2. Support debt capital markets (DCM) transactions, such as covered bonds, unsecured bond issuances, and structured products.
  3. Collaborate with business areas across Corporate & Institutional Banking to deliver pragmatic legal solutions.
  4. Engage in strategic and regulatory projects related to DCM.
  5. Contribute to central initiatives within the Legal & Secretariat function.

Profile

The ideal candidate will be:

  1. A solicitor or equivalent with a current practising certificate in a relevant jurisdiction.
  2. Possessing ideally 4+ years' PQE in securitisation and DCM, gained in private practice or in-house.
  3. Experienced in providing commercial legal advice and leading complex transactions.
  4. Adaptable and willing to engage in various DCM products and projects.
  5. Skilled in building relationships and influencing stakeholders across functions.
