Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic tutor in Leigh to provide 1:1 tailored lessons and support for KS3/KS4 pupils. You will bridge learning gaps and boost engagement, working with vulnerable and disengaged learners.

Experience with SEND or disengaged pupils is valued, and the role allows for flexible hours in a community or pupil home setting. QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience is required, with UK classroom exposure preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience.
• UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential.
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box.
• Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS3 or KS4 pupil education and boost engagement and attainment levels.
• Support pupils in a one-to-one or small-group setting, adapting approaches to individual needs.
