Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking compassionate Support Practitioners in East Kilbride. You will help individuals in their own homes with daily living, including meals, personal care, and budgeting, in a role open to newcomers who share our values.

Training is provided, including a fully funded SVQ, with opportunities to grow within social care and a supportive team environment. A valid driving car is required and the position involves travel to clients' homes.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and caring nature essential.
• Strong observation skills to monitor individuals' needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Comfortable using computers and basic digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals living in their own homes with daily tasks, including medication and finances.
• Perform housework, meal preparation, and personal care as needed.
• Support engagement in hobbies and social activities.
• Work well both in a team and independently to support independence.
