Job summary

Senior Hub–Meals on Wheels of Fairfield County is seeking a full-time In-Home Services Manager to oversee Homemaking and related in-home programs that help older adults remain safe, independent, and connected at home. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and detail-oriented, with strong collaboration skills with clients and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified by RN or LPN under RN, or STNA with at least 2 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services required
• Supervisory experience and valid driver's license are required

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Homemaker, Emergency Response, and Adaptive equipment programs and staff
• Oversee and maintain the In-Home Repair Program
• Conduct initial visits and develop care plans for the Homemaker program
• Coordinate contracted providers and programming for the In-Home Services Department
• Coordinate and schedule in-home services with contracted or internal staff, to include personal care, homemaker services, respite care, and home repairs
• Work with community providers to fulfill in-home service referrals
• Coordinate financial assistance
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of service units and provider billing
• Develop an annual continuing education curriculum for In-Home Services staff
• Maintain training records as required by COAAA

Essential Job Functions

Requirements

• Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) working under an RN
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services
• State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with at least 2 years of experience

Additional Requirements

• Supervisory experience required
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required
