Job summary

First Option Healthcare is recruiting a compassionate and proactive Healthcare Assistant to join our growing team. You will work one-on-one with a 15-year-old girl at home, providing care such as PEG feeding, tracheostomy, and suctioning in the family setting.

We offer in-house bespoke training, weekly payments, and a supportive rota with permanent and ad-hoc opportunities. Sponsorship for overseas candidates is not provided. INDJ

Qualifications

• Experience as HCA or Carer with pediatric home care.
• Experience with PEG feeding, tracheostomy, and suctioning.
• Ability to work one-on-one with patients in their family home.
• Willing to undergo in-house bespoke training.

Responsibilities

• Using complex care equipment and carrying out complex care procedures.
• Supporting clients outside of the home for medical appointments.
• Caring for patients at home and building rapport with family members.
• Ensuring care plans are followed and changes escalated to clinical leads.
