Job summary

Bellcare is seeking dedicated Health Care Assistants to support service users in their own homes across the region. You will help individuals live independently, following care plans and maintaining dignity and comfort at all times.

Training will be provided, including the Care Certificate and diplomas. A flexible weekend rota and travel between local areas are part of the role, with mileage reimbursement and paid travel time.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for caring and supporting others.
• Flexibility and reliability.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with service users, relatives or Advocates and other team members.
• Provide personal care following care plans while maintaining dignity.
• Provide healthy balanced meals in accordance with care plans and dietary needs.
• Perform light domestic duties as outlined in the care plan.
• Offer social support to maintain recreational activities and relationships.
• Attend team meetings, training and appraisals and comply with Bellcare policies.
