Position Summary

Main job functions: To work within the Technical Department, develop, lead, and collaborate with manufacturing to implement continuous operational improvements across various processes. To champion continuous improvements while ensuring the safety and quality of the finished product.

Employees are required to carry out other duties as reasonably assigned.

Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Investigate quality problems, identify root causes, and implement effective countermeasures to prevent recurrence.
  • Identify innovative projects and solutions to enhance overall productivity of ETL production processes.
  • Ensure project work is carried out efficiently, cost-effectively, and on time.
  • Utilize the MUDA process to eliminate unnecessary tasks.
  • Encourage and be receptive to suggestions for improvements.
  • Identify areas for personal development.
  • Provide engineering support and advice across engineering disciplines.
  • Design, build, install, commission, and evaluate equipment to improve process efficiencies.
  • Coordinate third-party companies during modifications of Epson production equipment.
  • Maintain documentation for machinery in compliance with relevant legislation, including the Machinery Directive.
  • Continuously review and improve health and safety measures to ensure a safe working environment.

  • High pride in work quality.
  • Experience in a high-speed automated production environment.
  • Recognized apprenticeship or equivalent experience (desirable).
