Job description

Improvement East Project Lead | 8404 | secondment opportunity/temporary contract until 31 July 2027 | 37 hours per week | £38,626 to £40,476 per annum | Grade J | Norwich

The Improvement East Project Lead will support the Eastern Region Improvement and Innovation Alliance (RIIA) to deliver regional projects that will support the improvement of opportunities and outcomes for children, young people and families across the East of England.

Improvement East works to improve outcomes for Children and Young People in the region by facilitating collaboration, challenge, innovation and improvement in Childrens Services across the Eastern Region. The Alliance brings together all 11 local authorities in the East and works with strategic partners and the eight other RIIAs across the country to bring about positive change.

As the Improvement East Project Lead, you will work with the Eastern Region Sector Led Improvement Manager and take the lead on specific regional projects to ensure that objectives are clearly defined and achieved within the agreed time, cost and quality constraints.

You will have a key role in working with stakeholders, including local authorities from across the region and external partners to deliver projects in line with the regional priorities set by the Eastern Region DCS Network.
