Job summary

About The Role

This is an exciting time to join our Transformation Team. As an Improvement Consultant you will work across teams leading on key transformation and business improvement projects that deliver the Communities, Adults and Health directorate’s Medium Term Financial Strategy (MTFS) programme. You will:

  • Deliver high quality business improvement projects that lead to financially sustainable outcomes and improved value for money for Communities, Adults and Health
  • Work with the Transformation Manager and key stakeholders within the service to deliver on business plan objectives in line with corporate and service priorities – with a key focus on delivering financial sustainability
  • Provide expertise to ensure business improvement transformation projects are run to time, budget and to a high quality.

About You

  • You will work creatively and collaboratively to identify gaps, opportunities, solutions and new approaches to implement and embed sustainable business change
  • Build strong relationships with internal colleagues and external partners, understanding the value of local residents and promote an integrated and collaborative approach to delivery of improvement projects
  • Influence the shape and direction of delivery plans and their implementation, providing added-value by constructive challenge to manage risks and issues
  • Support a high-performance culture that drives continuous improvement and efficiency savings capable of delivering Service priorities.
