Transcomm Recruitment is seeking an Import road Freight Groupage Operator / Clerk for a rapidly expanding UK & International freight forwarding organisation based in Essex. You will handle European Import groupage services and liaise with customers and overseas partners to ensure smooth movement of goods.

The role requires at least 2 years of road freight experience, including import and groupage, and the ability to manually calculate costs and charges. Pension benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Understanding of taxable kilos.
• Good customer service skills.
• Experience with Customs paperwork.
• Ability to work in a team but also be self-sufficient.

Role Description

Handling European Import road freight groupage services. Arranging movement of import road freight from origin to final destination, both international and national. Liaising with customers, overseas partners and suppliers.
