The Company:

A fantastic opportunity for an import merchandiser to play a crucial role in facilitating the sales process and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional support to the retail customers. You will be working with Buyers, building relationships and supporting the internal teams. Hybrid options available

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting a major retail customer with day-to-day Product Merchandising
  • Ensuring that products meet delivery dates
  • Raising orders and notifying factories as required.
  • Communicating with the buying team and understanding key sample deadline and selection/ sign off dates
  • Working with buyers and the design team to receive design packs
  • To ensure availability of all required samples for buyer’s selection meetings on time
  • Request buyers’ feedback
  • To ensure a timely review of account performance
  • Managing the critical path and ensuring the customer is updated
  • Work with 3rd Party warehouse to ensure the goods are booked and delivered as per agreed dates.
  • Complete weekly dispatch report
  • Arrange and lead customer meetings.
  • Other duties as required.

Skills

  • Previous experience in a merchandising role, preferably within the wholesale or retail industry.
  • Dynamic, flexible working methods, adapting to the needs of the customer and business
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments.
