Job Description:

We are seeking a versatile Operations all-rounder responsible for daily import/export and customer service operations at our London/UK office.

Our organization specializes in freight forwarding and logistics, with over 120 employees across Greece, Switzerland, UK, Kenya, and Bulgaria, offering strong global partnerships and outstanding service levels.

Your responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of import/export transactions, managing documentation, coordinating freight bookings, and handling payments with vendors and freight forwarders.

Working Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m - 5:30 p.m, with a 1-hour lunch break, totaling 40 hours weekly.

  • Communicating with prospective customers
  • Conducting market research for suppliers

  • Preparing and following up on customs documentation

Full Job Responsibilities:
  • Confirming arrivals and managing export bills of lading
  • Arranging deliveries and pickups
  • Transferring files to brokerage
  • Providing customer service, handling bookings, documentation, and routing
  • Updating management on department progress
  • Reviewing all documents for accuracy
  • Supporting daily import/export operations to meet customer requirements
  • Communicating with vendors domestically and internationally
  • Ensuring proper document sequencing in files
  • Tracking shipments and advising customer service as needed
Skills Required:
