Overview

Our client, a Freight Forwarder based in Felixstowe, has an excellent opportunity for a experienced and enthusiastic individual to join their Import Customs Clearance team.

Responsibilities

Duties would include:

• Responsible for producing quality and accurate customs entries.
• Obtaining accurate information from importers, before completing customs entry
• Monitoring of arrivals
• Building excellent working relationships with clients, resolving any issues
• Working within HMRC regulations
• Communicating with customs authorities to ensure compliance with regulations
• Address and resolve any documentation or shipment issues promptly.

Required Experience

• Import customs clearance experience is essential
• Knowledge of CNS and Destin8 or similar preferred
