Job summary

E12 UPS Limited is seeking an Import Broker to support the brokerage team from our East Midlands Airport offices. You will review and validate invoice data to ensure HMRC and customs compliance for entry into the UK, with responsibilities spanning data entry, document collection, and enquiry handling.

Based in Castle Donington, you will collaborate with clients, UPS staff, carriers and agents, and training will be provided for customs procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent keyboard skills required.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience in the Customer Service field.
• Team player capable of handling workload pressure.
• Knowledge of HM Customs and Excise import/export procedures desirable with full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Data entry: open customer files, validate information, credit and invoicing.
• Collect information or documentation from customers, drivers, customs and other offices when required.
• Identify discrepancies in customer profiles.
• Respond to standard questions from customers, drivers, customs and other offices.
• Collaborate with clients, UPS SCS staff, carriers and inbound agents as part of the team.
