A leading Telco company is seeking a Senior Implementation Engineer for an initial 12-month contract based in Coventry, United Kingdom. The role involves managing the active platform portfolio across the UK, leading deployments, and driving improvements in processes while ensuring network integrity. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in networking, electrical systems, and will be capable of mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

Senior Implementation Engineer (Contract - Inside IR35): £550pd - £650pd - Remote w/ On-site Travel

Senior Implementation Engineer opportunity on an initial 12 month Inside IR35 contract. You will be working for a leading Telco company being responsible for the delivery and management of their active platform portfolio across the UK. You will be required to travel to different sites 2/3 times a month.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop regional deployment capabilities to support new builds, migrations and network augments
• Design and standardize physical installation packs and deployment processes
• Integrate new resources into existing network, ensuring seamless configuration and inventory management
• Drive continuous improvement in deployment processes with a focus in automation and data integrity
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partner to ensure high-quality network installations

Requirements:

• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with electrical cabling/wiring systems
• Knowledge of commissioning tools and network technologies (Layer2 & 3, Ethernet, IP)
• Strong Excel experience and an understanding of Salesforce
• A passion of continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
• Ability to mentor junior members of the team
