Implementation and Improvement Facilitator (Ref: 211874)

Full time (37 hours per week)

Fixed-term contract/secondment until 31 March 2026

Edinburgh/Glasgow - hybrid working will apply for the foreseeable future

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Improvement and Implementation Facilitator to join the Transformational Change Mental Health Unit which is part of the Community Engagement and Transformational Change Directorate of Healthcare Improvement Scotland. The unit currently has the following active programmes of work:

  • Mental Health and Substance Use
  • Scottish Patient Safety Programme Mental Health and Core Standards
  • Mental Health Reform (Complex Mental Health)
  • Mental Health Responsive Support (Delayed Discharges and “Coming Home”)

We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and positive individuals to work within the Mental Health Responsive Support programme and provide support across the unit when required. The successful candidate will have experience, skills and knowledge of project delivery and management and also in health and social care improvement work. They will provide the improvement delivery and infrastructure support required to facilitate delivery of this national redesign, improvement and implementation programme. Individuals should be educated to degree level and or have experience in improving services in health and social care and project management.
