Job Description:

Are you in Application Support, but feel like you're capable of more?

How about combining it with Implementation and some development, supporting a white label Trade Execution Management system for some of the most well known names in the Asset Management and Hedge Fund industry?

Alongside supporting traders day to day, fixing the kind of issues you'd only normally see supporting bespoke systems 'in-house' at a Hedge Fund, you'll also be responsible for upgrades and implementations.

You'll be gathering requirements from clients and being hands-on building out features for them within the trading platforms - this is a great opportunity for someone who knows how to program but doesn't currently get to use it as much as they'd like.

The best bit? Because each implementation is completely bespoke, you'll be facing a unique problem to solve every single day.

You'll probably have a skillset containing most of the following:

  • A few years of experience in application support, ideally with some exposure to trading applications.
  • Programming ability - C++ would be ideal, but any Object Oriented language is great.
  • The ability to stay calm and communicate well under pressure, as this is client facing and you'll be supporting traders in high-stakes situations.
