Job Introduction

Implementation Analyst (Insurance)

Up to £52,000 per annum dependent on experience

FTC Until End of March 2026

London Hybrid

Here at Saga, we are looking for a new Implementation Analyst to join Saga Insurance.

Following Saga’s recent announcement to partner with Ageas in early 2026, you will be responsible for providing business analysis across the business and working with the Implementation team and wider delivery teams to define Schedule of Event and management thereof during implementation events.

Reporting to the Implementation Manager, you will play a key role in Go/No Go decisions. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent business analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The Implementation Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to understand their go-live runbook and consolidate them into a single, coherent runbook.

We offer flexibility in your work location – you can work from home or in one of our hubs, with occasional in-person workshops in London or the South East.

Role Responsibilities

The Implementation Analyst will be accountable for creating runbooks as part of the Go-live Go/No Go process. Other responsibilities include:

  • Defining key decision points throughout a cutover event
  • Capturing, interpreting, and translating business requirements into acceptance criteria for user stories
  • Analyzing business data to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Facilitating workshops and meetings to gather requirements and propose solutions
  • Business process engineering using efficiency and lean principles
  • Tracking project progress and escalating blockers
  • Evaluating options and recommending solutions
  • Identifying system and operational gaps and supporting change requests
  • Managing multiple projects effectively with strong organization and time management skills
  • Supporting project teams with analysis and stakeholder management
  • Maintaining documentation of actions, risks, issues, and decisions in line with best practices
The Ideal Candidate

The candidate should have proven experience in creating and managing runbooks in large-scale migration projects. Industry experience in insurance is advantageous but not essential. Key skills include:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Curiosity and willingness to challenge assumptions
  • Knowledge of Business Analyst practices or transferable skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio and Draw.io are a plus)
  • Experience in requirements gathering and process modeling
Package Description

We offer an attractive benefits package, including:

  • Flexible 35-hour work week
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with options to purchase additional days
  • Matched pension contributions up to 10%
  • Colleague discounts, including on cruises and holidays
  • Retail, travel, and entertainment discounts
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave
  • Grandparents leave
  • Performance-related bonus up to 5%
  • Income protection
  • Access to Saga Academy learning platform
