Job Description:

Located between Portsmouth and Worthing, our client is seeking an Implant Operations Specialist. The role involves working with various departments to ensure timely and compliant shipment processing, including handling domestic, EU, and third-country shipments, preparing necessary documentation, and supporting emergency and hazardous shipments. The ideal candidate will have good computer skills, strong English communication, their own transport, and relevant experience in logistics or freight forwarding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support client relationships on-site.
  • Process shipments, coordinate hazardous and emergency shipments, and seek additional business opportunities.
  • Promote company services and build knowledge of client operations.
  • Ensure shipment processing complies with company procedures and statutory policies.
  • Produce reports and support management planning.
  • Assist with urgent transportation requests and explore alternative solutions.
Skills and Experience:
  • Solution design and problem-solving skills.
  • Coordination and presentation skills.
  • Industry knowledge in freight forwarding or logistics.
  • Proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Previous relevant experience and post-graduate qualification preferred.
