Job summary

SI ICT is seeking a Website Developer to design and build our site from concept to completion. The role is hybrid and based in London, UK.

You will work with designers and developers to implement home page layouts, site architecture, and scalable features, applying modern HTML/CSS and server-side languages. You’ll be responsible for testing, documentation, and keeping current with emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience in web programming.
• Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS.
• Familiarity with at least one of PHP, ASP.NET, JavaScript or Ruby on Rails.
• Solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
• Relational databases, OOP, and web app development knowledge.
• Knowledge of SEO basics and performance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code using best software development practices.
• Build and test APIs for data exchange between applications.
• Build and maintain databases.
• Plan and prototype new applications.
• Design web layouts and UI using HTML/CSS.
• Review code and collaborate with designers and project staff.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Test sites across browsers and environments and fix issues.
• Maintain, expand and scale client websites.
