Job summary

TEAM LEWIS is seeking a capable Developer to join our expanding development team in Greater London. You will contribute to both back-end and front-end work, crafting visually engaging websites, mobile apps, and campaigns while aligning with the company’s vision.

You will collaborate under the Head of Development, applying modern frameworks such as React and NextJs, with a focus on scalable, accessible, and high-quality code across platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years development experience.
• Experience with modern front end frameworks like React and NextJs.
• Understanding of back-end programming concepts.
• Previous Experience of Wordpress.
• Strong vanilla JS skills and front end experience.

Responsibilities

• Considers website development beyond the brief, and extends it to include commercial aspects and business value considerations.
• Works closely with the Head of Development and the agency’s development team to maintain and evolve the development standards of the agency.
• Develops designs to an excellent creative standard, collaborating with other delivery functions.
• Develops and progresses opportunities to diversify the development product portfolio, highlighting opportunities to expand the agency capability set.
• Demonstrates high levels of attention to detail and standards of accuracy in all code deliverables.
• Shows a clear understanding, adoption and development of latest techniques and languages and offers exploratory solutions to development requirements.
• Develops a good ideology for managing maintainable, scalable solutions and blueprint products (re-usable assets).
• Encourages and inspires excellence in both the development and design teams.
• Records and shares lessons learned with team members to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Ensures development architecture is always current and repositories are set up and maintained correctly.
