Droylsden Academy is inviting applications for a Teaching Assistant (Level 2) – Maternity Cover. The role will support students to catch up with learning, supervising individuals and small groups identified with targeted needs, to accelerate progress and ensure positive attitudes to learning.

This temporary, 39-week TTO contract runs 32.5 hours per week. Actual salary ranges from £20,502 to £21,504 per annum.

Responsibilities

• Supervise individuals and small groups of students identified as having targeted needs to accelerate learning.
• Assist with planning and delivery of interventions in collaboration with the Curriculum Leader Learning Support / SENCO.
