Job summary

The Streetly Academy is seeking a Teaching Assistant – Level 2 to join our vibrant school community. The post is permanent, term-time at 32.5 hours per week, with actual pay of £19,766 - £20,080 per annum.

Start date is Autumn Term/November 2026. The academy values safeguarding, inclusive education, and professional development, offering opportunities to support learning and participate in clubs and activities.

Qualifications

• Qualified and enthusiastic team player to support learning.
• Willingness to assist the class teacher and manage students.
• Involvement in safeguarding and welfare checks (Enhanced DBS)

Responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in managing students and learning.
• Involvement in personal care for physically disabled students as part of resourced provisions.
• Deliver active and engaging learning and set targets for all abilities.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
