Job summary

Morrisons Head Office in the region near Leeds is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist - Store Support to back stores with accurate information and guidance to achieve availability, waste and markdown KPIs. You will educate store teams on processes, coordinate cross-functional actions, and support events to maximise store availability.

The role requires strong numeracy, stakeholder management, and experience in FMCG retail.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of store operations and stock control.
• Experience with management principles and governance.
• Understanding of supply chain concepts (availability, waste, markdown).
• Proficient with Excel and Office suite.
• Strong numeracy and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on supply issues to stores to meet KPIs.
• Represent Retail & Supply chain in operational groups and coordinate actions.
• Communicate updates to internal and external customers.
• Educate and coach store colleagues on processes to improve KPI delivery.
• Maintain and update Supply Chain policy and process documents.
• Advise on supply for events to maximise availability and minimise markdown risk.
• Support store launches and refits for availability targets.
• Provide guidance during unplanned events to minimise disruption.
• Coordinate trials affecting Supply Chain policies and procedures.
