Job summary

Experienced Social Worker – Preparation for Adulthood at Warrington Borough Council. Join the Specialist Teams Service in the Preparation for Adulthood (PFA) Team to support vulnerable young people using legislative frameworks and co-produce person-centered assessments and support plans.

You will work with a team, under supervision, contributing to safeguarding and multidisciplinary collaboration, with opportunities for training and career progression in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A passion for social work and its values-base.
• Recognised Social Work qualification.
• Social Work England registration.
• Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
• To be able to work 37 hours per week.
• Full and current driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support some of the most vulnerable young people in Warrington.
• Co-produce person-centered assessments and creative support plans.
• Lead safeguarding responses to protect adults at risk of abuse and neglect.
• Work with a team of social workers, community care workers and admin staff.
• Develop skills through training including Court of Protection, S42 Safeguarding Enquiries, and CAM assessments.
