Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is recruiting a Social Worker for the Parenting Practitioner Team within Family Help North. The role is full-time (37 hours per week), based at The Arden Centre, Atherstone, with 12 fixed-term months.

You will work within Restorative Principles to safeguard children and support families, developing personalised, outcome‑driven plans. Applicants must hold a recognised Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England.

Qualifications

• Professional Social Work qualification and Social Work England Registration.
• In depth experience in children's social work and experience of complex cases.
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to make well informed decisions.
• Ability to record and produce concise, effective, and accurate reports.
• Good communication skills with the ability to build relationships with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Assess and support children and families within Safeguarding frameworks.
• Collaborate with multi‑agency partners to ensure best outcomes for children.
• Document cases clearly, concisely and accurately for legal and care planning.
