Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join the team at Lord Lawson of Beamish Academy, Birtley Lane, Chester-le-Street. The role covers 16.25 hours per week, with shifts 14:30 to 17:45 during term-time and a 06:00 start outside term-time, Monday to Friday.

Location is on site at the academy in County Durham. The successful candidate will be trained to deliver cleaning to a high standard, work effectively in a team or independently, and comply with all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health

Qualifications

• Training to deliver the cleaning role
• Work as part of a team or on own initiative
• Adhere to Mitie Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies

Responsibilities

• Deliver cleaning to a high standard in line with the contract and SLAs
• Maintain and clean equipment and report maintenance needs
• Ensure security and safeguarding policies are followed and records kept
• Build positive relationships with staff and customers and seek continuous service improvements
