Job summary

Qualifications

• This job requires a valid Alaska type C special services certificate with an endorsement in occupational therapy.
• A valid Alaska license for the practice of occupational therapy.
• A degree in occupational therapy from an accredited university recognized by AOTA or WFOT.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluation of students and determines need for OT services in the educational setting.
• Establishes functional school-based goals for fine motor, oral motor and self-care skills.
• Develops and implements therapeutic activities to support student access to education.
• Regularly documents data on OT goals and outcomes.
• Collaborates with school staff to integrate therapy into regular instruction.
