Job summary

Julian Hodge Bank is seeking a Product Owner to translate the technology product vision into delivery, working with CX, operations, product, technology, risk and compliance to realise the vision.

You will own the customer journey, prioritise backlogs, guide MVP discovery with UX and agile teams, and drive releases that maximise value while keeping the customer at the heart of every decision. Cardiff-based role in a value-led, growing bank.

Qualifications

• Agile qualification.
• Experience with technology change.
• Knowledge of customer journeys.
• Knowledge of BCOBS, FCA and PRA.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of customer experience to challenge and improve processes.
• Shape customer experience across touchpoints with emphasis on moments of truth.
• Guide delivery team to define final user stories.
• Steer sprint and release planning to maximise business value.
• Lead discovery work around MVP with UX and delivery teams.
• Present vision, roadmap, KPIs and execution plans to motivate delivery teams.
• Establish best practice with CX owners and hold PO meetings after sprints.
• Advocate for innovative, evidence-based approaches to improve CX and profitability.
• Understand customer segmentation and develop personas for design and delivery.
• Define business cases with change/operations and track value including KPIs.
• Build relationships with product, marketing, customer services, regulatory and change teams.
• Inspire colleagues to place the customer at the heart of everything we do.
• Drive rapid progress within an agile team following the Hodge delivery framework.
• Develop knowledge of group products and analytics tools (Google Analytics, SessionCam).
