Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Paediatric Community Speech and Language Therapist for Wirral. Bands 6 or 7, ASAP start, 3-month contract. Responsibilities include updated assessments, care plan development, and providing face-to-face services in clinic and school settings.

The role requires HCPC registration, NHS experience, and a Masters in Speech and Language Therapy, with strong paediatric communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Experience in NHS settings is preferred.
• Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of paediatric speech, language and communication disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency with therapy platforms and related technology.
• Commitment to CPD and keeping up-to-date with best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct updated assessments for children in Wirral.
• Develop and update care plans for paediatric SLT cases.
• Collaborate with families, educators and other healthcare professionals.
• Cover clinical areas across Children’s Speech and Language Therapy in Wirral.
• Work across clinic and school settings in Wirral.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
