Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking an Inclusion Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Leeds (LS10/LS11). This full-time, long-term role starts ASAP and offers a competitive daily rate dependent on experience.

You will work with pupils with SEND, provide 1:1 and small group support, support SEMH/ASC needs, and collaborate with the SENCO and teachers to promote engagement and best outcomes. Experience in schools or care settings and an enhanced DBS are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs.
• Assist pupils with SEMH needs, ASC and other barriers to learning.
• Support delivery of tailored interventions and learning activities.
• Collaborate with class teacher, SENCO and school staff.
• Promote positive behaviour and pupil participation.
• Build supportive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
