Danebury School is seeking three enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistants to join our team, specializing in English, Maths or Science. You will deliver planned learning to individuals and groups, support teachers, and adapt activities for learners with SEND.

You will work within mainstream classrooms and the Flexible Learning Pathway Centre, supporting inclusion and safeguarding, building confidence and resilience as pupils progress toward GCSE and Functional Skills.

Formación

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
• Experience supporting secondary-aged students.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of SEND, SEMH and adaptive teaching approaches.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver planned learning to individuals, small groups and whole classes.
• Provide in-class academic support and targeted curriculum reinforcement.
• Work with teachers to prepare resources and adapt learning to individual needs.
• Promote engagement, confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
• Support students with SEND through adaptive teaching approaches.
• Contribute to assessment and provide feedback on student progress.
• Lead targeted interventions and support students' reintegration into mainstream lessons.
