Job summary

Inizio Engage is seeking a Clinical Nurse Trainer to support field-based nursing teams across the South West of England. The role involves delivering high-quality clinical education, ensuring competency development, and providing practical patient support in both face-to-face and virtual settings.

The successful candidate will travel regularly, with some overnight stays, and must hold a full UK driving licence. A Registered Nurse with training experience and CPD activity is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years post-registration nursing experience.
• Proven training, education, coaching, mentoring, or competency support in a clinical setting.
• Experience of supporting patients, carers, families, healthcare professionals, or clinical teams with clinical education.
• Experience of working within clinical governance, safeguarding, and regulatory standards.
• Experience of maintaining accurate clinical records, training documentation, and activity reporting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical training and education to healthcare professionals and clinical teams.
• Support patients, carers, and families with homecare education and ongoing clinical support.
• Develop and maintain evidence-based training materials, documentation, and resources.
• Monitor competencies and support safe clinical practice.
• Complete reporting, documentation, and KPI activity tracking.
• Support audits, service reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, governance, and safeguarding standards.
• Escalate clinical concerns, incidents, and adverse events as required.
