Job summary

Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service is seeking an enthusiastic Events Fundraiser to join our fundraising team and deliver a programme of events that raise vital income for local children and families.

You will plan, coordinate and deliver a diverse portfolio of events, managing logistics, budgets and participation targets while safeguarding supporter communications and stewardship. Evening and weekend work may be required to accommodate events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience planning and delivering fundraising events.
• Ability to manage budgets and income targets for diverse events.
• Strong communication and relationship-building to steward supporters.
• Experience with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.
• Familiarity with Canva or similar design software is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver a diverse portfolio of fundraising events.
• Manage event logistics, budgets, income and participation targets.
• Oversee supporter communications and stewardship to maximise engagement.
• Collaborate with fundraising, communications and volunteering teams and external partners.
