Job summary

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Static Community Physiotherapist to join a busy ICTT team in the North of Sheffield. The post is fixed term for 9 months and part time (22 hours), with a city-wide service operating 8 am–6 pm, seven days a week.

The role involves home visits, equipment management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Applicants should have a BSc/Diploma in Physiotherapy, HCPC registration, and experience in community settings.

Qualifications

• BSc/Diploma in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration are required.
• Experience in rehabilitation of older people and community settings is desirable.
• Evidence of continuous professional development and practice in therapy.
• Competency in physiotherapy clinical reasoning and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out physiotherapy assessments and plan/deliver home-based treatments.
• Work with therapy assistants and facilitate their training.
• Order, transport, provide and fit equipment; refer to other services as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in governance and safety tasks.
