Job summary

FMG Repair Services in Huddersfield is seeking a Bodyshop Production Manager to lead a fast-paced workshop during a growth period. You will oversee job status, run daily progress meetings and drive quality standards across the bodyshop.

The role requires a solid bodyshop background, NVQ3/City & Guilds/ATA qualification and a hands-on, customer‑focused approach. Driving licence is essential and you will report to the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Must have solid Bodyshop background with relevant qualification.
• Experience in fast-paced workshop environments and quality focus.
• Full UK/EU Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Organise the bodyshop by controlling job status and running daily progress meetings.
• Ensure tools, equipment, waste control and site security are managed.
• Ensure correct completion of job cards and shop floor procedures.
• Liaise with bodyshop Technicians and Manager on quality issues.
• Deliver work meeting high technical and quality standards for customers.
