Job summary

Aqovia is seeking a Back-End Data Engineer to join our agile team in the United Kingdom. You will build robust back-end microservices, high-performance data pipelines, and manage MS SQL platforms, delivering enterprise ETL solutions.

Operating in an eXtreme Programming environment, you’ll design RESTful APIs with C#, .NET and NodeJS, leverage AI tooling, implement CI/CD and monitor application health. We value hands-on data architecture, event-driven messaging with RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus,

Qualifications

• Proficient in C#, .NET and NodeJS with MS SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with ETL workflows and data integration pipelines.
• Familiarity with event-driven messaging (RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus).
• Experience with cloud services and modern AI tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain back-end services, RESTful APIs, and microservices using C#, .NET, and NodeJS.
• Develop data pipelines, MS SQL database schemas, and enterprise ETL/ELT processes.
• Connect back-end applications to event-driven architectures using RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus.
• Leverage AI tooling to streamline workflows, automate deployments via CI/CD, and monitor application health.
