Job summary

Aqovia is seeking a Back-End Data Engineer to join its agile team in London. You will build robust back-end microservices, data pipelines, and manage MS SQL platforms, while implementing enterprise ETL solutions.

You'll work with C#, .NET, NodeJS, and cloud services on Azure, focusing on scalable, secure data processing. A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with pair programming are valued in our XP-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing back-end services and APIs.
• Hands-on ETL/data pipeline development.
• Familiar with Azure cloud services and SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Back-End & API Development: Design, build, and maintain back-end services, RESTful APIs, and microservices using C#, .NET, and NodeJS.
• Data Engineering & ETL: Develop data pipelines, MS SQL database schemas, and enterprise ETL/ELT processes.
• Integration & Streaming: Connect back-end applications to event-driven architectures using RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus.
• AI & DevOps: Leverage modern AI tooling to streamline workflows, automate deployments via CI/CD, and monitor application health.
