Job summary

Talent Recruitment Group is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Qualified Before & After School Club Supervisor in Oldham, starting September. You will join a friendly school team to provide high-quality wraparound care and create a safe, engaging environment for children after the school day.

You will plan age-appropriate activities, supervise sessions, support children's development, maintain safeguarding procedures, and collaborate with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years or childcare (essential).
• Experience working with children in early years, school, nursery or wraparound care settings.
• Solid understanding of child development and EYFS.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and promoting welfare.
• Positive, enthusiastic and caring approach with ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a range of fun, creative activities appropriate for ages, encouraging learning through play.
• Supervise sessions, ensuring safety, wellbeing and happiness at all times.
• Support children's social, emotional and physical development through positive interactions.
• Promote positive behaviour with praise and encouragement to build confidence.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues; maintain effective communication.
• Prepare and serve healthy snacks in line with food hygiene and allergy procedures.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and club policies at all times.
• Maintain accurate registers and report concerns per safeguarding procedures.
• Collaborate with the school and childcare team to provide high-quality wraparound care.
