Job summary

Outwood Grange Academies Trust is hiring an Advanced Teaching Assistant for the Middlesbrough site. The role focuses on delivering targeted interventions to smaller groups, supporting SEN students, and aiding English learners while maintaining high expectations.

The position is 30 hours per week, part-time, with term-time plus days; permanent/temporary opportunities available and start as soon as possible. Strong teamwork and ICT usage are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification relating to working with children and young people.
• Experience in a school setting or with children/young people.
• Ability to deliver interventions and work flexibly to meet needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned learning activities and intervention programmes to small groups or individuals.
• Assess, monitor and record student development and attainment via ICT systems.
• Support students with SEN and English as an additional language.
• Provide short-term cover and assist with developing individual plans.
