Job summary

North Tyneside Council is seeking an experienced Adults Social Worker to join its Adult Learning Disability Team on an agency basis, within an Adult Social Care service recently rated Good by the CQC. You will work in a multidisciplinary team supporting adults with learning disabilities and their families through different life stages using a strengths-based approach.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• Experience in adults social care and multidisciplinary settings is desirable.
• Commitment to a strengths-based approach.

Responsibilities

• Undertake assessments and develop and review support plans.
• Carry out safeguarding duties for adults at risk.
• Collaborate with carers and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
